After the instant, we are is accepting applications from both the local and international volunteers willing to serve in a minimum of one among the subsequent areas of interest;
-Fieldworkers: to look and registered the homeless people that need shelter and participate in our food and item sharing programs.
– Computer training and Vocational skills for youngsters, youths, and women: Volunteers as individuals or in groups organize computer classes for youngsters through schools and through holidays and also online, train women and adults on machine operation, leadership, and entrepreneurship for teens and adults.
-Village and community Development Planning: SLAE Foundation needs additional hands to arrange meetings with village people to spot their problems, and style an action plan on the way to solve the pressing problems of the local people
-Human rights education and advocacy/Civic education: this is often another area that needs many international volunteers who teach human rights in schools; organize community base and regional human rights education and advocacy workshops. There are over 30 schools registered with us that require human rights educators and civic education for teens.
-Leadership and governance education through schools
-Family planning in rural villages and thru schools
-Fundraising; checking out grants and other funding sources to support SLAE Foundation’s many activities and finding donors for the sponsorship program.
-Environmental education in secondary schools: Volunteers will prepare materials and organize lecture sessions in schools and other places like churches on top environmental management issues.
-Peer Education: Volunteers will need to be fixing and running peer education workshops with youths around the South West Region and ensuring to follow-up to form sure that the participants are passing on their newly-acquired information.
-Community sports: For development, passing the message of HIV/AIDS and PMCTCTs while addressing other important social issues through sports.
-Livelihood Project: Working with the villagers to urge needed advice from experts on environmental protection, helping to seek out new ways for villagers to supplement their incomes, and fundraising to assist get their projects started.
