Promoting Transition to Home Orphan-Care!

SLAE Foundation practices alternative orphan-care solutions around the world by introducing the Transition to Home approach to family reunification (first developed by our project, Transition (i)). SLAE Foundation is currently operating within the Gambia, Zimbabwe, and Cambodia; in Liberia with children suffering from the Ebola epidemic. We are looking forward to your support to expand our services in Greece and other countries harboring refugees.
According to international laws and standards, orphaned children are alleged to be reunited with relatives members at an area level. In cases where no capable relations are often found, then homes should be made available within their community of birth. If these options are exhausted, then (and only then) should international adoption become an option. However, these principles are routinely ignored. SLAE Foundation’s mission is to market these expectations of the law of nations.
SLAE Foundation has developed a program to confront the worldwide Orphan Crisis. SLAE Foundation has established our Transition to Home global project so as to support both an orphaned child also as his or her surviving relatives with the goal of keeping the Orphan together with their families while relieving the orphan communes of unnecessary cases. Host families that accept this responsibility do so with the understanding that it’ll be conditional, as long as certain requirements of the child’s rearing are met.
This project can both reduce short-term poverty by directly providing a partial income to the impoverished and people most in need and ultimately fight long-term poverty by creating a more and more productive, competent future human capital among Orphans who may have otherwise received little or no education. SLAE Foundation is currently introducing the Transition (i) solution to other parts of the planet and can still expand to succeed in even more communities!
There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning failure.nn– OLIVER SANDERO
